The Palm on Park is located in
Boca Grande, Florida,
a barrier island in the
Gulf of Mexico between
Tampa and Naples. The island is seven miles long, one mile wide and is
accessible by toll bridge or boat. There is a year round population of
1,000 which increases in our season to 6,000. The main shopping area
is located in the Historical District on the island with just a
handful of exclusive, specialty shops in a three block radius. Boca
Grande has been described as a quaint New England village with palm
trees. There is a unique, small town feeling and closeness in our
community.
 Although Boca Grande does have year round
trade, being a resort island, it is very seasonal. Our business
depends on our winter residents who are here from October to April. We
have worked very hard to build a personal relationship with our
customers that extends to them even after they've left the island.
Being an affluent, resort island, Lilly Pulitzer® never went out of
style for us. Our customers knew it, loved it and missed it! So, when
Lilly Pulitzer was reorganized, we were one of the very first accounts
to order. We started with one rack within a six square foot area in
one of our other stores on the island, Ariel, Ltd. We steadily
increased volume to consume the entire front section of the store,
encompassing 200 square feet; ordering all seasons and all
classifications: ladies, children's, men's, accessories, shoe and
bed/bath. We have worked extremely hard to increase our
customer's awareness of Lilly. Although we had done an incredible
amount of business in this small space, we felt we could do even
better by moving Lilly Pulitzer into a place of its own. In 2002 we
moved to a new location of approximately 800 square feet, The Palm on
Park. In January 2003 we became one of Lilly Pulitzer newest
Signature Stores and in 2006 we moved to our new even bigger location
at 444 4th
